Wipe solutions are so easy to make and can save you money! Use them for cleaning sticky hands and dirty faces and fund sales. Unlike commercial wipes, these recipes do not contain alcohol or chemicals, and feel good. Use these recipes on cloth wipes or make your own wipes and save even more money! To make disposable wipes, paper towels, high quality cut in half or leave whole paper towels full size.
Common Cloth Wipe Solution Ingredients:
Many cleaning solution recipes contain similar main ingredients, which are used by the same reason in each recipe. These are common ingredients and why they are included:
- Oil: Helps eliminate slippage on baby's skin and keeps skin soft
- Soap: Cleanses by removing all traces of urine and faeces
- EO (essential oil) added to the antibacterial and / or aromatherapy.
- Water: The main ingredient in each recipe, clean the buttocks and dilutes the other ingredients
The type and quantities of oil, soap, equal opportunities and water entering a recipe is what gives each cloth wipe solution in its own distinct personality. Enjoy different recipes before finding the one we like!
Using cloth diapers Clean Solutions
When solutions Mixing it is best to start with oil and end with water. The oil is put on their measuring tools so the soap slips away. Be sure to add the water slowly or end up with a lot of bubbles! Most times it is easier to mix the solution gently rub in a jar with a lid, then pour in the storage container.
There are many different ways to store and implement solutions to clean your clothes, try some of these ideas to find one that works best for your family. You may discover that the system works very well at home and works well away from home. Here are some ideas to get started:
- Use the bottom of a spray bottle for the baby wipes or spray. (For baby's comfort, we prefer spraying the wipes)
- Use a bottle with a pull-up peak (as in bottled water bottles) to the solution drop by drop upon the wipes.
- Hot solution and placed in a container isolated to provide baby wipes warmer.
- Place in a container of baby wipes and wipe trade in the solution.
- Wipes cloth wipes instead of baby wipes in a commercial container and pour the solution in the wipes.
- A commercial baby wipes container can be placed in a hot towel for comfort for warm baby wipes.
Do not store the solution or wipes towelettes for long because they can become musty and damp, mold can grow even – ewww! Check your daily and the solution of wet wipes, and the mix of smaller lots of solution frequently instead of large batches less often to avoid congestion. We solution fresh mix once a week, store a bottle of bottled water, and had no mold problems.
