Sweet corn to make polymer clay is very easy and is an excellent project for any age group. These polymer clay beads are so cute little sweet and are perfect to add all kinds of ornaments and other things. You can use them to embellish things like photo frames, magnets, candles or even add pages to scrapbooking.
Supply List:
– Polymer (yellow, orange, white) – I usually use the Sculpey brand
– Acrylic Sealer (optional)
Instructions:
1. Heat each color of the clay material and knead until it feels smooth. Now, roll each color to that is about 1 / 4 "thick. Then press the three rolls and more white on top, orange in the East and yellow at the bottom.
2. Find a thin, sharp as a piece of cardboard used to divide the clay. With the white top, making angle cuts through the clay. This is white triangular pieces to be at the forefront of small and yellow to the larger base.
3. Now, to make them look more finished and smooth in the edges. Now, just sweet corn. Before deciding whether to cook sweet corn leaves them or tap, if you want to make buttons, earrings, or perhaps a pendant necklace.
4. To make buttons, only two blow holes in the middle of the orange clay. Now the buttons are ready to cook. To make earrings, pins have eye and ear hooks. Poke the eye pins to the top of sweet corn. Then press the clay around the stem so that they kept. Now the slopes are ready to cook. To finish your earrings, attach the earring hooks. You may need to use needle-nose pliers for this. To make a pendant, brooch poked in the eye of maize Sweet as described for earrings. However, the pendant is ready to cook.
5. Bake your packaging creations from sweet corn. I cooked mine for 10 minutes at 275F worked well.
6. (Optional) After the cooled sweet corn, can be sprayed with an acrylic sealer to be brilliant and have a fuller look. This may take several hours to dry completely.
The above suggestions are just some ideas of how you can use these corns cute clay sweets. Take a minute to think of other fun and be creative, you can use these small ornaments. The clothes or a suit? A table for a party? Perhaps a pillow at once? There are so many possibilities for these small kernels of candy.
