I personally prefer to use white wine or cooking sherry as opposed to red wine in any dish, but especially with chicken …If you don’t drink red wine you may not like the flavour it leaves when cooked. I drink red wine, love it in fact but I hate it in cooking leaves a sour taste. White wine has a subtle flavour that it adds to any dish though.
